Mac Scarce was a lefthanded reliever for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1972-1974. In 1973 he posted an ERA of 2.42. He was a workhorse in 1973-74, appearing in more than 50 games each season. He later made brief appearances with the New York Mets and Minnesota Twins. He also played for the Toledo Mud Hens in 1974 and 1978.
