Luis Mendoza briefly had a no-hitter for the 2011 Omaha Royals. On July 18, he tossed no-hit ball for eight innings against the Memphis Redbirds. In the 9th, Tyler Greene hit a fly that David Lough misplayed in left. The scorer ruled it an error, changed it back to a hit right after the game to take away the no-hitter, then returned it to an error after an hour. Two days later, the Pacific Coast League reversed the scorer again, changing it to a hit and depriving Mendoza of the no-hitter.
