Los Angeles, or L.A. is the second largest city in the United States, lying on the Pacific Coast of Southern California. A number of its neighborhoods, including Hollywood, Venice and Vernon have hosted their own baseball teams. The nearby cities of Anaheim, CA and Long Beach, CA, which are part of the L.A. metropolitan area have also hosted professional teams.
Los Angeles is home to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of Southern California.
