The SABR biography of Lil Stoner says that Lonnie Goldstein and Stoner played on the championship semi-pro team called the Enid Champlin Refiners in 1939.
The book Baseball in Columbia has a photo of Goldstein as part of the 1941 Columbia Reds, champions of the South Atlantic League.
