Lloyd Christenbury, who played four seasons in the majors, had sharp ups and downs in his time there. His peak was in 1921 when, in 125 at-bats, he hit .352 and slugged .504 as the backup second baseman. In his other years, he played in the outfield more than in the infield.
He was at Davidson College in 1914.
After baseball he worked as a shipping clerk.
