Also known as the Lithuanian Baseball Association, the Lithuanian Baseball Federation was founded in 1987. Has been a member of the IBAF since 1991.

Headquarted in Vilnius, former Soviet ballplayer Edmundas Matusevičius is the secretary general. Vidmantas Vasiliauskas is the president.

The federation oversees Lithuania's national team, which has played in the B pool of the European Championship. They have won several Bronze Medals in the B Pool.
