List of baseball players who went directly to the major leagues
From BR Bullpen
A number of baseball players are distinguished by the fact that they made their professional debut in the majors without having played a single game at the minor league level or at the professional level. The following is an attempt at a comprehensive list of those players.
It is worth noting that many of these players, at one time or another, did play in the minor leagues after their major league debut -- some as rehabilitation assignments after injury, others after an outright demotion.
This list should include thirteen members of the Baseball Hall of Fame[1], denoted in bold.
