[edit] 1948

The 1947 Lima team came from the Ohio State League with a last place finish tag on them and picked up right where they left off, finishing dead last again in the Ohio-Indiana League. Their record for the 1948 season, 57 wins and 83 losses, put them 25 1/2 games out. Charlie Engle was the Terriers' manager and they had no players show up in the league leader board.

The Terriers would change their team name for 1949 to the Lima Chiefs, thinking that might change their pace.
