[edit] 1949

The 1949 year brought more of the same as the Lima team (formerly the Lima Terriers) again finished in the bottom spot. They finished with a 46 won and 91 loss record, 34 games behind the leaders. George Kinnamon took over for Grover Hartley as the teams manager during the season but things did not get better. The Lima boys again had no players finish in the high league statistics.

The team would look forward to 1950 with another new team name, the Lima Phillies and again hope for better luck.
