[edit] Biographical Information
Lew Flick, who appeared briefly in the majors in two seasons, holds the record for consecutive hits in a single game for his minor league performance on July 21, 1946 for the Little Rock Travelers in a game against Memphis Chicks in the Southern Association. Flick hit safely in his first 9 at bats in the 19 inning game before grounding out in his final at bat for a 9 for 10 game. (He also went 3-3 in the second game of that day's doubleheader).
