Lévis, also spelled Levis in English, is a city located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, opposite of Quebec City. In 2002 Lévis and nine other nearby cities merged to form the current city. Georges Maranda was born and died here. Christian Chénard was also born here. The Collège de Lévis is located here.
