[edit] Biographical Information
"Larry Daniels is the best base-runner among the Kansas Citys." - Sporting Life, July 18, 1888
Larry Daniels played a couple seasons in the American Association in 1887-88. He had played at Macon in 1886 and after his time in the majors played at Worcester.
While he was at every position other than pitcher during his time in the majors, mostly he was split between catcher and outfield.
The SABR biography of Frank Cox indicates that Cox, Daniels, Frank Selee, Emmett Seery and others played for the Waltham Watch Company ball club in the early 1880's.
He was usually called "Larry" in the press. After baseball he became a "prosperous mechanic" in Boston.
