Laura Espinoza-Watson became the first player in the history of the University of Arizona's softball program to sock 20 homers when she went deep thirty times in 1994. As a senior in '95, she set a national collegiate record by cracking 37 long balls; that mark still stood 15 years later.

She later coached softball at Banning High School, Eastern Arizona College, Pima Community College, Loyola Marymount University and Empire High School. The 37-year-old was picked to play for the USA in the 2010 Women's Baseball World Cup.
