Larry Milbourne played for the New York Yankees in the 1981 World Series and collected 3 RBI.

In 1989 and 1990, Larry Milbourne played for the three teams in the Senior Professional Baseball Association. Milbourne batted a combined .363 for the three teams. He played 8 games for the St. Lucie Legends, 4 for the Orlando Juice, and 20 for the Gold Coast Suns.

While with the Houston Astros, his nickname was "Devil".

Milbourne's brother, Monty Milbourne, was a minor leaguer in the Chicago White Sox chain.
