Pitcher Larry Hardy managed the Utica Blue Jays in 1980 and the Knoxville Blue Jays in 1981, 1982, and 1986. He was also a pitching coach in the Blue Jays chain, then the San Francisco Giants organization, including a stop with the Phoenix Firebirds. Later he was a Texas Rangers coach from 1995 to 2001.
