Larry Miggins was the # 5 outfielder for the 1952 St. Louis Cardinals. He also appeared in one game for the Cards in 1948.
A minor league slugger, Miggins had nearly 150 minor league home runs in nine seasons.
After baseball he went on to earn a master's degree and worked in the U.S. probation and parole office in Houston. He also served as baseball coach for his alma mater. He was inducted into the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003.
