Catcher Lance Nichols played in the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system from 1961 to 1967. He played in the Texas League in 1964-1965 and 1967 and reached as high as the Spokane Indians in 1966, but hit only .188/.244/.227 in his lone AAA season.
After managing in the minors, Nichols would also be a scout for the Colorado Rockies.
