Lance Dickson was the 1st round pick of the Chicago Cubs in the 1990 amateur draft. Dickson, owner of a great curve ball, debuted in the majors two months later. He pitched 3 games in the majors, each one a little worse than the one before. In the off-season he had surgery on his arm, and struggled in the minors through 1995, never re-appearing in the majors.
