Lancaster Red Roses

There have been teams in two cities called the Lancaster Red Roses, a name inspired by one of the two factions that fought in the War of the Two Roses (1455-1485). The other faction also inspired a baseball team, the York White Roses:
- Lancaster (OH) Red Roses, Ohio State League (1908)
- Lancaster (PA) Red Roses, Tri-State League (1907-1911, 1914); Interstate League (1940-1952); Piedmont League (1954-1955) & Eastern League (1958-1961)
