Lafayette Currence pitched in eight games for the 1975 Brewers.
With the Brewers he was 18 years younger than teammate Hank Aaron and four years older than teammate Robin Yount.
He and Lafayette Henion are the only major leaguers (through 2008) remembered with the first name Lafayette, although three others' real first names were Lafayette - Lave Cross, Lave Winham, and Fresco Thompson.
Currence went 15-6 for Danville in 1974 and 10-6 for Thetford Mines in 1975.
