La Barca, Jalisco

La Barca is located in the central Mexican state of Jalisco, at the western end of the Lago de Chapala, 50 miles south-west of Arandas, Jalisco and 60 miles south-east of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Enrique Castillo and Benjamín Cerda were born here four years apart; both were inducted into the Salón de la Fama early in the 21st Century.
