The son of "Lucky" Jack Lohrke, Kurt Lohrke played in the minor leagues for three years. He was with Pawtucket Red Sox in the Eastern League and the Greenville Rangers in the Western Carolinas League (1971); Winston-Salem in the Carolina League (1972); and Bristol in the Eastern League (1973). Overall he had one home run and 63 RBI.
