Kunigoro Mori roamed the outfield for the Osaka Tigers for three years. He hit .143/.218/.143 as a backup in 1939, then batted .193/.218/.207 the next year. Playing regularly, he hit .227/.286/.241 as a regular in 1941. His career line read .205/.255/.218. He died shortly thereafter, killed in combat during World War II.
