Kinnis Pledger was selected by the Chicago White Sox in 3rd Round of the 1987 amateur draft. In 1995, Kinnis was second in the Texas-Louisiana League with 21 home runs while playing with the Mobile BaySharks. He was the Atlantic League Player of the Year and All-Star 1B in 1998 with the Bridgeport Bluefish.

He is now a Coldwell Banker Real Estate agent in Winter Park, FL.
