Kiko Garcia took over at shortstop from 8-time Gold Glove winner Mark Belanger for the 1979 Orioles. Garcia had 8 hits, including two doubles and a triple, hitting .400 in the World Series that year.
In 1989, Kiko Garcia played for the Orlando Juice of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. Garcia played in 14 games and batted .320.
