Kevin Towers

Pitcher Kevin Towers was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 1982 amateur draft, but his playing career peaked out at the AAA due to injuries.

Towers was the Padres' Scouting Director in 1994-1995, and was General Manager of the Padres from November of 1995 until October 2009. He frequently traded with former boss and then Detroit Tigers GM Randy Smith.
