Kenny Rodríguez has pitched in Cuba and in the minors.

Rodríguez was 12-21 with a 5.31 ERA in 79 games and three seasons in Cuba through 2004. Pitching for the Habaneros in 2004-2005, he led the Super Liga with 36 strikeouts. He then defected to Ecuador.

Kenny signed with the Toronto Blue Jays in July 2007. He split 2008 between the Dunedin Blue Jays (8-8, 3.14, 24 BB in 111 2/3 IP, 104 K, .241 opponent average) and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (1-3, 11.28, 22 BB, 10 K, .347 opponent average). Had he qualified, he would have tied fellow defector Reidier Gonzalez for 4th in the Florida State League in ERA.

The Havana native had a better campaign in 2009, again starring for Dunedin (6-3, 2.43, .227 opponent average) but holding his own this time with New Hampshire (4-5, 4.50, .251 opponent average). Had he qualified, he would have been third in the FSL in ERA.

The right-hander started 2010 badly with Dunedin - 3-1, 7.20 after five games.
