Ken Suzuki pitched two years in Nippon Pro Baseball. He pitched for Nihon Sekiyu in the industrial leagues. In the 1991 Intercontinental Cup, he allowed 8 hits in 15 innings while fanning 20, going 1-1 with a 2.40 ERA. A third-round pick of the Hiroshima Carp in 1993, he was 1-7 with a 6.71 ERA that season. Control was his major flaw, as he walked 42 in 57 2/3 IP. He pitched two games for the 1995 Carp, allowing 8 hits and 8 runs in 2 1/3 IP. He retired with a 1-7, 7.05 record in 21 games. Hiroshima released him after 1996 and he was signed by the Yokohama BayStars. He never made out of ni-gun with Yokohama and retired at the end of 1998.
