Ken Lehman pitched five years in the major leagues, and was in the 1952 World Series as a rookie, giving up no runs in two innings.
His best year in the majors was 1957, when he pitched mostly for the 1957 Baltimore Orioles, going 8-3 with 6 saves and a 2.52 ERA for the full season.
Lehman was in the minors starting in 1947, and finished up in 1962. He won over 140 games in the minors, with a high of 22 victories for Montreal in 1955 (he had gone 18-10 the previous year). He was a teammate of Tommy Lasorda from 1953-55 at Montreal and also of Roberto Clemente during the one year that Clemente played at Montreal in 1954.
In 1948 Lehman not only went 17-7 for Idaho Falls but he also hit .385 in 117 at-bats.
Lehman missed the 1951 season due to military service. After retiring, he was the coach at the University of Washington from 1964 to 1971.
