[edit] Biographical Information
The switch-hitting outfielder Ken Henderson came up to a San Francisco Giants club that developed such outfield hitting stars as the Alou brothers, Bobby Bonds, Dave Kingman, Gary Matthews Sr., and Garry Maddox during the 1960's and 1970's. [Note: Willie McCovey and Orlando Cepeda also spent time in the Candlestick Park outfield.] A very good defensive outfielder, he was also a decent hitter who lasted 16 big league seasons. He hit 20 home runs only once. Henderson played for both the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Cubs.
Cousin of Kerry Dineen
