[edit] Biographical Information

Ken Reynolds was a journeyman southpaw who saw most of his service with the Philadelphia Phillies of 1971 and 1972. Pitching for poor teams, Reynolds had a 7-29 lifetime record.

In 1972, when the 1972 Phillies went 59-97, Reynolds went 2-15. It was the year that Carlton went 27-10 for the team.

The previous year, when Carlton was not on the team, Reynolds went 5-9 for a team that was 67-95, while the 39-year-old Jim Bunning went 5-12.

He is (through 2008) the only major leaguer from New Mexico Highlands University, located in northern New Mexico.
