First baseman Kelly Snider played in the Los Angeles Dodgers chain from 1976 to 1980, reaching AAA Albuquerque Dukes in 1979-1980. Along the way he was the 1977 California League MVP when he hit .345 with a league leading 36 HR and 139 RBI. His 183 hits were 5 behind league leader Joe Strain.
On March 30, 1981, Snider was traded by the Dodgers with Mickey Hatcher and Matt Reeves for Ken Landreaux. He spent 1981-1982 with the AAA Toledo Mud Hens before retiring. Snider had spent the last four years as a starter at the AAA level without making the majors.
He was a cousin of Keith Drumright.
