Kawanishi, Hyogo

The city of Kawanishi was founded in 1954 upon the consolidation of Kawanishi town, Tada village and Higashitani village. It is located in southeastern Hyogo Prefecture, near the Osaka Prefecture border. It is the birthplace of Atsuya Furuta and site of Kawanishi Meiho High School
