Justin Germano signed with the Softbank Hawks for 2009, but spent the first couple of months of the year at ni-gun before getting called up.
Germano spent the first month and a half of 2011 in the Cleveland Indians' bullpen before being sent down to the Columbus Clippers. On July 26 he threw a perfect game against the Syracuse Chiefs. The game occurred, ironically, one night before the parent Indians were no-hit by Ervin Santana.
