The son of Kevin Bass, brother of Garrett Bass, and nephew of Richard Bass, infielder Justin Bass was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 21st round of the 2007 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that July 1st with the AZL Angels and hit .275 in 20 games.
