Jung-ho Kang has been an infielder in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Kang debuted in 2006 with the Hyundai Unicorns, going 3 for 20 with a double. He was 2 for 15 in 2007. In 2008, he improved to .271/.334/.392 while becoming a starter; the team was now called the Woori Heroes. In 2009, the 22-year-old really broke out, batting .286/.349/.508 with 33 doubles, 81 RBI and 23 homers for the now-Seoul Heroes. He tied Sung-heon Hong for the KBO lead in two-baggers, tied for 11th in homers and tied for 12th in RBI. Despite that kind of production by a shortstop, he failed to be named the league's top player at the position; the honor went instead to Si-hyun Son. Kang was named to South Korea's roster for the 2010 Asian Games.
