[edit] Biographical Information
Second baseman Juan Navarette batted .307 with 2,625 hits in 21 seasons of pro baseball. He reached the AAA level in the early 1970s while playing in the Montreal Expos organization and went on to a long career in the Mexican League.
After his playing days, Navarette managed in the Oakland Athletics organization for several years. He was elected to the Salon de la Fama in 1998.
