Jorge Alcauzar has spent many years teaching coaching in Spain. He managed the Spanish junior national team to a either a Silver or Bronze Medal in the European Junior Championships of 1989, 1990 and 1991.
Alcauzar has coached for the Spanish national team in the 1983 European Championship, 1987 European Championship, 1988 Baseball World Cup, 1989 European Championship, 1991 European Championship, 1991 Intercontinental Cup, 1992 Olympics, 1993 Intercontinental Cup, 1997 Intercontinental Cup, 1997 European Championship, 1998 Baseball World Cup, 2003 European Championship, 2005 European Championship and 2007 European Championship.
