Overall, he pitched in 64 games between the winter and summer seasons. He held lefties to a .195 average in the summer but allowed a .283 mark to right-handers, indicating a possible future as a LOOGY.

Despite never having pitched in AAA and having bombed in AA, Norberto made the 2010 Diamondbacks out of spring training. In his debut in The Show, he replaced Leo Rosales with a 5-0 deficit in the 6th, one on and two out to face Tony Gwynn Jr. On a 3-1 pitch, he got Gwynn to fly out to CF Chris Young. Blaine Boyer relieved Jordan to open the 7th.

Norberto accepted a 50-game suspension resulting from MLB's investigation of the Biogenesis Laboratories on August 5, 2013. he was a minor league free agent at the time.
