Jong-wook Ko was South Korea's right fielder in the 2009 Baseball World Cup. He hit .237/.341/.421 to finish second in slugging on his squad behind Ho-sin Lee. He tied for the most runs (5) and was second in RBI (5, one behind Hun-gon Kim. He had one assist and no errors, two triples and two steals in three tries.
