Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida is the spring training home of the Detroit Tigers. The park is also home of their Class A Florida State League farm club, the Lakeland Tigers and their rookie league affiliate, the GCL Tigers. Named after Lakeland's former parks director, the ballpark opened in 1966. It originally had a capacity of 4,900 and, after later expansions, currently seats over 8,000.
