Johnstown is located in western Pennsylvania, 70 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA, on the Conemaugh River. It was an important steel town, known for a history of labor activism and violent strikes, and for devastating floods that occured in 1889, 1936 and 1977. It is also the site of the annual tournament of the All-American Amateur Baseball Association.
