John A. Narron Jr.

The brother of Jerry Narron, nephew of Milton Narron and Sam Narron and uncle of Sam Narron, John Narron Jr. played two years in the minors. He debuted with the 1974 Johnson City Yankees, hitting .272/~.391/.489 with 45 runs, 15 homers and 54 RBI in 68 games. He was third in the Appalachian League in home runs behind Fay Thompson and John Poff. Thompson was the league All-Star 1B ahead of Narron.
On April 1, 1975, Narron was traded to the Chicago White Sox along with Fred Anyzeski, Ken Bennett, Terry Quinn and cash for Ed Herrmann. He struggled with the Appleton Foxes, batting .228/~.279/.304 in 108 games.
Narron later managed the Helena Brewers in 2004.
