John Snyder broke into the majors in 1998 with a 7-2 record for the 1998 Chicago White Sox. He pitched for them in 1999 and then was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2000, in the trade that brought Jose Valentin to the White Sox.
Snyder also pitched 12 seasons in the minors for five different organizations.
