John Hobbs had a 3.18 ERA in four games for the 1981 Twins.
Hobbs is (through 2008) one of only two major leaguers out of Lynchburg College.
From 1981-83 he also pitched for Orlando, where he was a teammate of Tim Teufel.
With the Twins he was a couple years younger than teammate Mickey Hatcher.
