[edit] Biographical Information
Joel Barta has been a college coach. He was an assistant at Hastings College and Mayville State University. He then served as head coach of Northland College from 2000-2006, reviving a program that had been defunct since the 1970s. He was head coach of the University of Texas at Brownsville in 2007-2008 then was 71-48 at Ridgewater College from 2009-2011. In 2012, he became head coach of the University of Mary. He has also managed in the Northwoods League.
