Joe Litterio has been a college coach.
An infielder at Rutgers, he remained at the school as a volunteer assistant coach in 1994 then spent part of 1994 at Immaculate Conception High School. From 1995-1998, he coached for Monmouth College, followed by a year at Winthrop University. He then became head coach of Wagner College. In 2000, he became the first first-year Northeast Conference Coach to guide his school to the NCAA Tournament. He was named NEC Coach of the Year in 2009. While at Wagner, he coached Andrew Bailey.
