Joe Kutina played two seasons for the St. Louis Browns.
A first baseman, he was used by the 1911 Browns after John Black had played much of the season at first base. With the 1912 Browns he alternated with George Stovall.
For most of 1911 Kutina was with Saginaw, hitting .374. In his minor league career he also played elsewhere in the North - at Fond Du Lac and at Milwaukee. After his major league days he played in Montgomery in 1913.
