[edit] Biographical Information

Joe Cobb had a brief cup of coffee with the 1918 Detroit Tigers at the time when Ty Cobb was a star there. Afterwards, he played in the minors for teams such as the Jersey City Skeeters and the Baltimore Orioles, where he was a good hitter and an all-star. Later, he managed in the minors at Harrisburg.
