Joe Bean had 176 at-bats with the 1902 New York Giants and then played for Jersey City from 1903-08, managing them in parts of 1907-08.
Bean was the baseball coach at the University of Georgia from 1914 to 1916, and Georgia Tech from 1918 to 1920.
